What is bbstats.am?
A multi-tenant SaaS for running basketball leagues — live scoring, statistics, standings, playoff brackets, player profiles, news and a public fan site on your own subdomain or custom domain.
Is there a demo I can try?
Yes. demo.bbstats.am is a full sample league you can browse without signing up. To try the admin (branding, teams, live scoring, playoffs), open the demo admin and sign in as demo-scorer / TryDemoScore1 (shared full-admin account). Demo data resets every few hours.
Is there live scoring?
Yes. The scorekeeper UI runs an NBA-style game clock, tracks personal and team fouls, timeouts, possession arrow, quarter scores and overtimes, and pushes every event to fans in real time over WebSockets.
Can I run playoffs with brackets?
Yes. Build a bracket from quarterfinals to the final, choose best-of-1 or best-of-3 per round, and let winners advance automatically. Ties on series can be decided by aggregate points, and the public bracket updates live.
Can I import official FIBA box scores?
Yes. Upload a FIBA/GENIUS box score PDF and the importer parses teams, rosters, starters, quarter scores and the full box score, reconciles every total, and creates a finished game — no re-typing.
Can I stream games with a scoreboard overlay?
Yes. Every game exposes an OBS-ready browser-source overlay with live score, clock and fouls. The Overlay Designer lets you match your league branding, pick layouts and positions, and preview changes in real time.
Do I get a custom domain for my league?
Yes. Every tenant gets a free `<league>.bbstats.am` subdomain out of the box, and you can attach your own custom domain (e.g. fasleague.basketball) with one TXT record. HTTPS is automatic.
Can I customize the look (colors, logo, fonts)?
Yes. The Branding editor in the admin portal lets you set your league's primary/accent colors, upload a logo and favicon, and pick from a curated catalog of Google Fonts for headings and body text — applied before first paint, no flash of unstyled content.
How are fans notified?
Fans can register, follow teams, opt in to web-push notifications and receive emails for game start / final / news. Each tenant's subscriptions are isolated.
Where is the data stored and backed up?
Data lives in MongoDB on our managed infrastructure. Hourly mongodump runs are streamed to Hetzner S3-compatible storage with daily/weekly/monthly GFS retention; uploads are mirrored nightly. Restore scripts are bundled.
