1. Parties
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between BBStats, registered at Mashtots 1, Yerevan, Armenia ("we", "us", "the Platform"), and you, the individual or entity using bbstats.am ("you", "User"). By creating an account, starting a league, or subscribing to a paid plan, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
bbstats.am is a software-as-a-service platform for running basketball leagues: it provides live scoring, box scores, standings, team and player pages, news, rules, a public fan-facing website, and optional custom branding and custom domains.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your password confidential, and are responsible for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of others.
4. Tenants (leagues)
When you create a league you become its tenant administrator. You are responsible for the content your league publishes and for obtaining any rights required to publish it (for example, rights to use team logos, player photos, or embedded video). Each tenant is isolated from other tenants.
5. Subscription plans & payment
Some features are available only on paid plans. Prices and included features are listed on the Pricing page. Prices include or exclude VAT as indicated. Payment is made by bank card through our payment provider; we do not store card numbers. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before renewal. You can cancel at any time in your account settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
6. Refunds
Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You must not upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, must not attempt to access other tenants’ data, must not interfere with the platform’s security or availability, and must not use the service to send spam. See our Acceptable Use Policy.
8. Intellectual property
The platform software, design, and logos belong to BBStats. You retain ownership of the content you upload and grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute that content strictly to operate the service and perform the features you enable (such as public team pages).
9. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, and security fixes at any time.
10. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Termination
You can cancel at any time. We can suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms with notice, or immediately for serious breaches (fraud, illegal activity, security threats). On termination, your tenant is soft-deleted and permanently purged after 30 days.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Yerevan, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence grants you the right to a different forum.
